Beginning-
A forest of rich sounds, colors and animals laid under a mountain. The area spanned a great way, some saying it streched to the skyline. On one such day, a afternoon, a meow of a newborn cat was heard. The child, a black furred cat with white splotches grasped the air with his small handpads. The proud couple who bore the son, a snow leopard from a mountain village and a black panther from a small tribe in the forest smiled happily at the life they had brought into the world. They named him Buio, however, he would really never know his parents.
A few months later-
Buio was in his mother's arms, his father by her side as they strolled along a forest path. The day was overcasty, and both of his parents could tell something was happening. Soon, a few droplets of rain fell they turned into a squall of rain. The couple ran forward, knowing well on they wouldn't be able to go back to the village. A river they stopped at, panting for breath as Buio cried loudly. His father gruff voice shouted words young Buio couldn't reconize, his mother's chime and calming voice tried to reason with the father. The father wouldn't have it, grabbing his son and lifting him into a hollow of a nearby tree while his mother shouted to try and get him back. The father calmed his mate, saying words of encouragement. She frowned, Buio grasping at the air for his mother, whom turned away with his father not before saying 'I love you'. Together they tried to cross the river, but were overturned by waves... never seen again.
Over the next few hours, sounds and sights would be burned into Buio's mind. Lighting cracked against the sky's grey clouds. A violent rumble from the sky caused Buio to curl up and cry. He wouldn't sleep till it was all over.
The next day, a feral panther was coming out of hiding from the storm when she heard the mews and cries of a creature in need. She pinpointed the sound, coming along young Buio. Maternal insticts kicked in, grabbing the youngling by his scruff, and she cared for him until he was fit enough to go out on his own.
Years later-
After growing up with his adoptive feral mother, Buio was sent out in the world at the age of 23. During the course of his travels, he came across human villages and towns that paid him no ill harm. Most days, he would lounge about in parks being petted by senile old women feeding birds. They thought of him as but a regular cat! He honed his skills of hunting, mostly fish. He swam and hunted fish so fast, even the fish was surprised.
Yet, his past still haunted him. Whenever a storm would come, he'd hide curled up and hissed at the storm. Even worse, he had no mother or feral cat to cuddle with in these times of need. He slept alone, ate alone and talked alone. He wanted company... someone to hug and love. He'd find that in a Elven Forest.
Meeting-
Contray to the name of the forest, not many lived here. Buio, now the age of 26, liked this new forest. Maybe he'd make this place his new home! But first, he would need to take a bath... without taking his loincloth off, he found a lake which he floated around in the water. Unbenounced to him, another was in the water under the waterfall. A leopordess living in the forest was there, and she noticed him after a while.
Update later.
